WMCP setup guide

Connect your WooCommerce store to Claude in a few minutes — no plugin, no proxy.

1. Generate your WooCommerce API keys

In your WordPress admin, go to WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced → REST API and click Add key.

Description: WMCP
User: an administrator account
Permissions: Read/Write

Click Generate API key. WooCommerce shows a ck_… consumer key and cs_… consumer secret once — copy both.

2. Connect your store

Go to https://wmcp.au/setup, sign in with the Google account you'll use in Claude, and paste your store URL + the two keys. They're encrypted and only you can use them.

3. Add the connector in Claude

Claude Code:

claude mcp add --transport http -s user wmcp https://wmcp.au/mcp

Claude Desktop / Claude.ai: add a custom connector with this URL and sign in with the same Google account:

https://wmcp.au/mcp

4. Try it

Ask Claude things like:

"List my products that are low on stock"
"What were my top sellers last month?"
"Show me this week's orders that are still processing"
"Generate a studio image for product 42 and make it the featured image"
